$50,000 Powerball Ticket Sold In Monroe
One third-prize-winning ticket was sold for the Aug. 9 Powerball drawing, and it was sold in Orange County, NY Lottery officials said.
MONROE, NY — One third-prize-winning ticket was sold for the Aug. 9 Powerball drawing, and it was sold in Orange County, New York Lottery officials announced Thursday.
The ticket — worth $50,000 — was sold at Patriot Wines & Spirits in the Shoprite Plaza, 785 Route 17M in Monroe.
The winning numbers for the Powerball game are drawn from a field of one to 69. The red Power Ball is drawn from a separate field of one to 26. The Powerball drawing is televised every Monday, Wednesday and Saturday at 10:59 p.m.
