57-Year-Old Arrested For Obscene Material Involving Children: NYSP
The illegal materials found in the Orange County man's home involved children as young as six years old, according to state police.
PINE BUSH, NY — A Hudson Valley man was arrested for possessing disturbing and illegal videos, according to state police.
New York State Police say that 57-year-old Mark Sturdevant, of Pine Bush, was arrested on Thursday after an investigation into the possession of child sexual exploitation materials.
The investigation was conducted by the Troop F Computer Crimes Unit, in collaboration with the Troop F Bureau of Criminal Investigation (BCI) in Middletown, the Troop F Community Stabilization Unit, and the Troop F Violent Gang and Narcotic Enforcement Team.

State police say that investigators found that Sturdevant possessed images and videos depicting the sexual exploitation of children, some as young as six years old.
A search warrant was executed at Sturdevant's home on Thursday, leading to the discovery of the illegal materials, authorities said.

Sturdevant was charged with possessing an obscene sexual performance by a child less than 16 years of age, a felony.
He was released on an appearance ticket and is scheduled to appear in Crawford Town Court on June 2.
NYSP say the investigation is ongoing.
