Argument Over The Use Of A Chainsaw Leads To Arrest On Menacing And Gun Charges: NYSP
The 55-year-old Rhinebeck man allegedly "brandished a black handgun and racked the weapon," according to state police.

RHINEBECK, NY — An argument turned threatening, and ended with an arrest, according to state police,
New York State Police say that on July 3, around 7:13 p.m., troopers from SP Rhinebeck responded to Long Dock Road in the town of Rhinebeck, after receiving a report of a menacing incident.
An investigation found that an argument took place over the use of a chainsaw to cut trees.

Police say that the complainant told them that during the argument, 55-year-old Joseph Z. Dalu, of Rhinebeck "brandished a black handgun and racked the weapon."
Dalu was arrested and charged with misdemeanor second-degree menacing (with a weapon), and misdemeanor fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon (with intent to use).

He was arraigned in the Town of Rhinebeck Court and released on his own recognizance. Dalu is scheduled to appear in court on Thursday.
