POUGHKEEPSIE, NY — The Poughkeepsie city Common Council and Planning Board will be meeting the week of Feb. 20.

The City of Poughkeepsie Common Council will meet Tuesday, Feb. 21.

At 6 p.m., there will be a public hearing on draft zoning amendments.

At 6:30 p.m., the Common Council will meet.

On the agenda, which can be viewed here, will be a presentation from Celebrating the African Spirit and a resolution designating 299 Main St. as a local historic landmark.

The Planning Board will meet at 6 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 22.

Its agenda, which can be viewed here, includes a public hearing for a sign permit for the Mid-Hudson Discovery Museum, an application for a multifamily residential subdivision at 135 Main St. and a site plan review for construction of an 87-unit five-story mid-rise multifamily residential develop on South Avenue.
