Cornwall Library Budget Passes

The 2016-17 operating budget for the Cornwall Public Library passed with a vote of 440 to 123. The public vote was held at the library on Tuesday.

The budget sets spending for the year at $1,236,950. It is compliant with the tax levy cap.

Bruce Cohen was elected to a five-year term as trustee with 475 votes. Cohen is an artist and educator who worked with the New York and Woodbury public schools.
