Day Trip Tip: Events At Basilica Hudson

Basilica Hudson is a non-profit multidisciplinary arts center and one of the many reasons to visit Hudson, NY

MID HUDSON VALLEY, NY—Hudson is a great place for a day trip or even a short stay. It's home to Olana, the home of painter Frederic Church, a wealth of antique shops, plenty of trendy restaurants and is known for its fine examples of American architecture. You can spend a few days in Hudson, visiting boutiques, exhibits and eating out. And while you're there, catch an event at Basilica Hudson, a non-profit multidisciplinary arts center, which makes its home in a solar-powered reclaimed 1880s industrial factory.

Here's what the arts center has coming up in August.
