Don't Miss These Things to Do!

Here are some events for the weekend in the Hudson Valley.

West Point Band Concert. The West Point Band will perform at 7:30 p.m. at the Trophy Point Amphitheater at West Point on Saturday. The concert will feature a musical journey around the globe and a salute to the U.S. Armed Forces.

Grace Potter in Concert. The Ulster Performing Arts Center will present rock and pop singer Grace Potter at 7 p.m. on Sunday. The center is on Broadway. Call 845-339-6088 for more information.

The Evolution of Fashion. Lyndhurst will present an exhibition of history and fashion, “Defying Labels, New Roles, New Clothes,” from Friday through Sept. 25. The exhibit features the fashions of three women of the Gould family from 1880s to 1940. The collection of gowns, dresses, sportswear and accessories includes more than 30 ensembles from designers like Channel, Cartier, Worth, Van Cleef & Arpels, Louis Vuitton. Admission for the exhibit is $10, but for $16 people can tour the mansion, which is at 635 South Broadway in Tarrytown. For more information, call 914-762-1900.

Rockland Farmers Markets. This Sunday there will be Famers Markets open in Haverstraw from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Village Hall and in Piermont at the M&T Bank Parking Lot on Piermont and Ash from 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Putnam Farmers Markets. The Brewster Farmers Market will be open from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday at its new location in Wells Park on Oak Street. The Hudson Valley Regional Farmers Market is open from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sunday at 15 Mount Ebo Road, off Doansburg Road. The Cold Spring Farmers Market is open from 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. on Saturday at the Parish Hall of St. Mary’s-in-the-Highlands Church on Main Street and Chestnut Street.
