Drugs, Ammunition Seized In Poughkeepsie City Raid: Police
There was one arrest, and the man was charged with two felonies.

POUGHKEEPSIE, NY — The execution of a search warrant at a Poughkeepsie city resident resulted in the seizure of drugs and ammunition Thursday.
The Dutchess County District Attorney’s Office Drug Task Force said Joseph T. Anderson, 20, of the city of Poughkeepsie, was arrested Thursday and charged with third-degree criminal sale of a controlled substance and third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance with intent to sell, both felonies.
Additional charges are pending, authorities said.

The task force said it executed a search warrant at a home on Harrison Street in Poughkeepsie.
The investigation and arrest were the result of ongoing collaboration between the task force, the City of Poughkeepsie Police Neighborhood Recovery Unit and the Hudson Valley Safe Streets Task Force.

Police said Anderson was arrested without incident. Fentanyl, numerous amounts of ammunition, a high capacity drum style magazine for a Glock handgun and other handgun magazines were seized.
Anderson is being held pending arraignment in the City of Poughkeepsie Court.
