Early Dismissals Announced In Hudson Valley Friday
The storm wasn't as bad as expected, but it still caused some closings and early dismissals Friday.
HUDSON VALLEY, NY — While the snowstorm isn't producing as much as had been originally forecast, it did cause some schools to close Friday.
A few of those that decided to open are sending students home early.
As of 10:15 a.m. Friday, here are the schools that are dismissing classes ahead of schedule. This list will be updated as necessary.

- Clear View School: Early dismissal
- Dover: Early dismissal
- Hyde Park: Early dismissal
- Mount Vernon: After-school activities and adult education canceled
- Poughkeepsie Day School: Early dismissal
- Red Hook: After-school activities canceled
- Windward School: After-school activities canceled
