Fire Damages Dutchess County Recycling Facility
Water issues made fighting the blaze difficult, officials said.

POUGHKEEPSIE, NY — A two-alarm fire at the Dutchess County Resource Recovery Agency is under investigation Thursday.
The fire at the county’s “burn plant” was reported just before midnight Wednesday in a pile of trash in the Sand Dock Road facility, Mid Hudson News reported.
Water issues made fighting the fire difficult as the blaze worked its way toward a wall of the building and eventually through the roof of a corner.
