First Look At Thanksgiving Day Forecast In Hudson Valley: Here’s What To Expect
We'll be dealing with some rain before Thanksgiving. Here's what you need to know.
HUDSON VALLEY, NY — Travelers may encounter some rainy weather in the days leading up to Thanksgiving, but the holiday itself is expected to be a dry one, according to meteorologists.
Joe Villani, a meteorologist with the National Weather Service in Albany, said there is a 20 to 30 percent chance of showers tonight and into Saturday.
The skies will become clear during the day on Saturday, with a light breeze of 5 to 10 miles per hour and daytime temperatures near 50. Sunday and Monday are also expected to be mostly sunny, with highs hovering around 50 degrees, according to the National Weather Service.

On Tuesday, rain is expected to develop in the Hudson Valley region.
“It will be mild however, so there is no wintry precipitation expected if you are traveling,” Villani said.

Daytime high temperatures on Tuesday will be around 50 degrees.
Wednesday is expected to be similar, with scattered showers, and highs in the mid to upper 50s, according to the National Weather Service.
“Thanksgiving will be dry and breezy, and a little bit cooler than Wednesday,” Villani said.
The National Weather Service is predicting partly sunny skies throughout the Hudson Valley on Thanksgiving Day, with high temperatures around 50 degrees.
