POUGHKEEPSIE, NY — A clothing store that was shuttered for renovation earlier this year is reopening Saturday in the Poughkeepsie Galleria.

H&M will be back in business selling clothing for men, women and children at 11 a.m. Saturday in the mall on South Road.

Karla MacGregor, marketing director at the Poughkeepsie Galleria, said the grand reopening will kick off with a ribbon-cutting ceremony.

“We are thrilled when our stores reinvest in their brands,” she said. “It’s not just about upgrading its physical appearance; it’s a commitment to meeting the evolving demands of retail and enhancing the overall customer experience. We can’t wait to see H&M’s new look.”

At the grand reopening, H&M will give the first 100 shoppers a gift card valued up to $100.

A DJ will be spinning tunes all day long, organizers said, setting the mood and keeping the energy high as shoppers explore the newly refreshed store and discover the latest fashion must-haves.

The remodeled store is located on the upper level near Old Navy.
