HV Man Embezzles $150K From Investment Customers: NYSP
This is not the first time the man has faced a grand larceny charge, the state police said.

LAGRANGE, NY — A Dutchess County man was accused of embezzling money that was being held by an investment company.
The New York State Police said Todd Sims, 49, of LaGrange, was charged with second-degree grand larceny and two counts of third-degree grand larceny, felonies.
Police said the investigation determined that Sims stole more than $165,000 using an investment company business under the name of Horizon Holdings NY LLC.

He was arraigned in the town of LaGrange Court and released on his own recognizance.
Sims is scheduled to reappear in court May 3.

Police said he had previously been arrested in October and charged with second-degree grand larceny related to a similar investigation.
