Hudson Valley Woman Kidnaps Partner's Infant: Police
Police said the couple was having an argument, and the woman locked her partner out of the car and drove off with the child.
HYDE PARK, NY — A Dutchess County woman was accused of kidnapping her partner’s infant.
The New York State Police said troopers were sent around 8:40 p.m. Sunday to the Golden Manor Motel in Albany Post Road in the town of Hyde Park for a child abduction.
The initial investigation determined that Ashley M. Hernandez, 27, of Hyde Park, was in a verbal domestic dispute with her partner, which led to Hernandez driving the partner and the partner’s 11-month-old child to the Gold Manor Motel, police said.
