Icy Roads Cause School Delays Across The Hudson Valley On Wednesday Morning

HUDSON VALLEY, NY — Precipitation and freezing temperatures overnight have created hazardous conditions in some areas, and are prompting school districts to put the safety of staff and students ahead of the a.m. bell.

As of 7 a.m., on Wednesday, some Hudson Valley schools have decided to have a delayed start due to weather. This list will be updated throughout the morning.

• Dutchess Day School: 2-hour delay
• Ellenville SD: 2-hour delay
• Hyde Park CSD: 2-hour delay
• Millbrook CSD: 2-hour delay
• Onteora CSD: 2-hour delay
• Pine Plains CSD: 2-hour delay
• Red Hook CSD: 2-hour delay
• Rhinebeck CSD: 2-hour delay
• Rockland CSD: 2-hour delay
