Labor Day Weekend Forecast For Hudson Valley: What To Expect

HUDSON VALLEY, NY — While showers may impact the region today, the rest of the long holiday weekend is expected to be dry and pleasant.
Abbey Gant, a meteorologist with the National Weather Service based in Albany, said there is a chance for showers in the Hudson Valley Friday evening.
After that, sunshine is in the forecast for Saturday, Sunday and Monday, according to Gant.

“It will be a dry weekend in the Hudson Valley, as Saturday through Monday should be free of any precipitation,” Gant said. “Any outdoor plans will not be rained on.”
Saturday will be cooler than average, with highs reaching into the low 70s, according to the National Weather Service.

The temperatures will rise for Sunday and Monday, with highs reaching into the upper 70s both days.
“It won’t be brutally hot - but there will be plenty of sunshine,” Gant said. “It will be a pleasant holiday weekend.”
