Lane Closure Scheduled In New Windsor: DOT

The state will be replacing a water main, weather permitting.

NEW WINDSOR, NY — Motorists in Orange County should be aware of lane closures in the town of New Windsor.

The state Department of Transportation said Route 94 between Palamino Road and Brewer Road in New Windsor will be reduced to a single lane with alternating traffic controlled by flaggers.

The closure will happen nightly starting Monday, Oct. 10 through Saturday, Oct. 29 between the hours of 8 p.m and a.m.

A watermain replacement, weather permitting, is the cause, the DOT said.

Motorists are urged to slow down and drive responsibly in work zones. Fines are doubled for speeding in a work zone. Convictions of two or more speeding violations in a work zone could result in the suspension of an individual’s driver license.
