The Latest School Weather Delays On An Icy Wednesday Morning

HUDSON VALLEY, NY — Overnight icing means that slick roads for the morning commute in some areas are prompting some school districts to put the safety of staff and students ahead of the a.m. bell.

As of 7 a.m., many Hudson Valley schools decided to delay the start of classes on Wednesday. This list will be updated throughout the morning.

• Carmel CSD: 2-hour delay
• Dover UFSD: 2-hour delay
• Ellenville: 2-hour delay
• Highland CSD: 2-hour delay
• Kingston CS: 2-hour delay
• Middle Way School: 2-hour delay
• Millbrook CSD: 2-hour delay
• Newburgh ECSD: 2-hour delay
• New Paltz CSD: 2-hour delay
• Onteora CSD: 2-hour delay
