GOSHEN, NY — A 35-foot-tall Christmas tree made out of Legos is the centerpiece of the Legoland New York Resort’s second annual Holiday Bricktacular.

The first-ever Lego-built Christmas tree for the theme park is made out of 364,481 Lego and Duplo bricks, according to a spokesperson.

The Holiday Bricktacular is being billed as the ultimate experience for kids age 2 to 12 and their families, and it is bigger and better than ever.

This year’s Holiday Bricktacular, presented by Hallmark Channel, also features brand-new shows such as Festival of Flurries and the Bricktacular DJ Bash, along with never-before-seen characters Snowman, Reindeer Girl and Gingerbread Man.

Live carolers will serenade guests as they meet and greet Lego Santa — and send him a letter at the North Pole Postal Service. Guests will be able to enjoy toasting their own s’mores and helping build a unique holiday mosaic featuring more than 66,000 Lego bricks.

All activities are included in regular daily admission, with tickets starting at $39, and take place throughout the top section of the park, from Brick Street through Lego Ninjago World. Lego Castle, Lego City and Lego Pirates are closed for the season.

After spending a day at the park, guests can stay at the Legoland Hotel, which is just steps away from the park. There are 250 themed guest rooms, each with its own separate sleeping area just for kids, nightly children’s entertainment, an in-room scavenger hunt and more.
