Orange County Inmate's Cause Of Death Revealed

GOSHEN, NY — The cause of an inmate’s death while in custody at the Orange County Jail has been released.

On Wednesday, the Orange County Sheriff’s Office said 30-year-old Jario Navarro died Sunday, March 24 of natural causes.

An autopsy was conducted March 26 which determined the manner of death, officials said.

The Orange County Sheriff’s Office Administration and staff worked with the New York State Attorney General’s Office throughout the investigation, law enforcement said.
