Orange County Man Accused Of Child Sexual Abuse

The Wallkill police executed a search warrant at a home on Route 78 which led to an arrest.

WALLKILL, NY — An Orange County man was arrested after being accused of sexually abusing a child.

The Town of Wallkill Police Department said, around 8:40 a.m. Wednesday, members of the department executed a search warrant at a home on Route 78, assisted by members of the Orange County Sheriff’s Office K-9 unit, FBI Safe Streets Task Force and the New York State Police Computer Crimes Unit.

During the search, Jordan C. Montalvo, 37, was arrested.

He was charged with predatory sexual assault against a child under 13 years old, first-degree course of sexual conduct against a child and first-degree criminal sex act, victim less than 11 years old, all felonies.

Montalvo was arraigned in the City of Middletown Court and sent to the Orange County Jail without bail.
