Osborne Association Launches 2025 Toy Drive to Brighten the Holidays for Children with Incarcerated Parents
Community members can shop directly from Osborne's Amazon Wish List
Osborne Association, New York’s leading nonprofit serving individuals and families affected by incarceration, has launched its annual Toy Drive to bring holiday joy to children with an incarcerated parent.
For as little as $10, supporters can make the holidays brighter for one of the estimated 100,000 New York children who have a parent in prison or jail. Community members can shop directly from Osborne’s Amazon Wish List through December 6.
Each year, Osborne provides hundreds of toys to children at its five Family Centers located in correctional facilities across Westchester, Dutchess, Ulster, and Sullivan counties. These Family Centers, part of Osborne’s decades-long commitment to keeping families connected, offer welcoming spaces for children and caregivers visiting their incarcerated loved ones.

“When you have an incarcerated parent, the holidays can be a painful reminder of the distance between you and the loved one who matters most in your universe,” said Laura Roan, Vice President of Osborne Association’s Prison Services. “A holiday gift can make a huge difference. It reminds children that they are loved and a part of a community that cares about their well-being.”
Toys collected through the drive will be distributed at multiple family events in early December.
Employers or community groups interested in partnering on the Toy Drive can contact Osborne’s Development team at development@osborneny.org.
