Paintings by Hurley on Exhibit at Howland Library Through May 7

Ulster County landscapes by Warren Hurley are on view.

The Howland Public Library in Beacon is presenting an exhibition of works by painter Warren Hurley in the Community Room Exhibit Space.

Hurley, who lives in High Falls, is exhibiting paintings of Ulster County landscapes. His current work explores the countryside near where he lives. Before his retirement in 2000, Hurley served as assistant principal at New Paltz High School. He spent most of his career in art education.

The paintings will be on view during regular library hours, but may not be accessible during some library programs. The library is located at 313 Main Street in Beacon. For more information, go to the library’s website.
