Patterson Rec Center Hosts Military Collectibles, Knife Show

The show will be held Saturday, April 23 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Saturday, April 23 is the date for the Military Collectibles and Knife Show that will be held at the Patterson Recreation Center, located at 65 Front St. in Patterson.

Historical items for sale include insignia, medals, uniforms, equipment, swords, knives, daggers, headgear, books, art work, antique muzzle loading guns and more. The material covers the years from the American Revolution to present day. There will also be several uniformed "Living Historians" who are ready to answer questions about the eras they represent. Vendors come from all over the northeast.
Brian Benedict "The Dufflebag Man" will be available to identify and appraise items free of charge. Food will be available for breakfast and lunch.

This is a family-friendly show that runs from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Admission is $5, and children under 12 years of age are free with an adult. Part of the proceeds of this event goes to the Patterson Recreation Center and the American Veterans Historical Museum.
