Police ID Driver Killed In Single-Car Crash Near Orange County Airport
He was traveling west on State Route 416 at a high speed, when he failed to negotiate a right-hand turn through a yield sign, police said.

MONTGOMERY, NY — The driver killed when his car left the road in a high-speed single-car crash has been identified by authorities.
New York State Police say that troopers responded to State Route 416 in the village of Montgomery, around 8:45 p.m. on Friday, after receiving a report about a one-vehicle collision.
An investigation by the NYSP Bureau of Criminal Investigation (BCI) at SP Montgomery found that a 2016 Honda was traveling west on State Route 416 at a high speed, when the driver failed to negotiate a right-hand turn through a yield sign onto Union Street. The vehicle then struck several trees off the west shoulder.

The driver and only occupant of the vehicle, who was later identified as 32-year-old Ryan D. Tucker, of Bloomingburg, was pronounced dead at the scene.
NYSP were assisted by the Village of Montgomery Police Department, the Town of Montgomery Police Department, the Village of Goshen Police Department, the Montgomery Fire Department, and Montgomery EMS.
