Poughkeepsie Man Had Illegal Loaded Handgun: NYSP
Police said the man was sent to county jail in lieu of bail.
POUGHKEEPSIE, NY — A Poughkeepsie man was accused of having a loaded illegal handgun.
The New York State Police arrested Jakai M. Rivera, 24, of Poughkeepsie, on Nov. 22, and charged him with second-degree criminal possession of a weapon, a felony.
While executing a warrant issued by the Town of Poughkeepsie Court, police said investigators found Rivera was in illegal possession of a loaded Glock model 21C handgun.

He was arraigned in the Town of Lagrange Court and sent to the Dutchess County Jail in lieu of $25,000 bail, $50,000 bond or $100,000 partially secured bond.
Rivera was next scheduled to appear in the Town of Poughkeepsie Court Tuesday.
