Raid At Hudson Valley Home Leads To Crack Stash, Felony Charges: NYSP

The Troop K Community Stabilization and the City of Poughkeepsie Neighborhood Recovery Unit served a warrant on a Poughkeepsie home.

CITY OF POUGHKEEPSIE, NY — A raid on a Dutchess County home led to a drug seizure and three arrests, according to NYSP.

The New York State Police say that on Wednesday, members of the Troop K Community Stabilization Unit and the City of Poughkeepsie Neighborhood Recovery Unit arrested three people after the execution of a search warrant at a home on May Street, in the City of Poughkeepsie.

The search led to the seizure of of crack cocaine and drug paraphernalia.

State police say that the investigation resulted in 40-year-old Arnold J. Falgiano, and 41-year-old Jaclynn Padro, both residents of May Street, being arrested and charged with felony fifth-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, and misdemeanor second-degree criminal use of drug paraphernalia.

In addition, 56-year-old Steven Watson, of Poughkeepsie, was arrested and charged with two felony counts of fifth-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, and misdemeanor second-degree criminal use of drug paraphernalia.

All three were arraigned before the City of Poughkeepsie Court. While Falgiano was released on his own recognizance, Padro was remanded to the Dutchess County Justice and Transition Center in lieu of $5,000 cash bail, $15,000 bond, or $30,000 partially secured bond. Watson was also remanded to the Dutchess County Justice and Transition Center.
