School District Employee Charged With Forcibly Touching, Endangering Welfare Of 3 HS Students: DA

The 68-year-old Hyde Park resident is scheduled to reappear in the Town of LaGrange Court later this month.

LAGRANGE, NY — A 68-year-old school district employee is accused of inappropriate and illegal behavior with students.

The Dutchess County Sheriff's Office says Robert J. Siniscalchi, of Hyde Park, was arrested after a joint investigation with the Arlington Central School District.

Siniscalchi was arrested on Tuesday following the monthlong investigation, and is accused of having inappropriate physical contact with three Arlington High School students during the 2024-2025 school year. The Sheriff's Office says that no further information about the students or the case will be released, in order to protect the victims' identities.

Siniscalchi was charged with three misdemeanor counts each of forcible touching and endangering the welfare of a child.

After processing, he was released and is scheduled to appear in the Town of LaGrange Court on June 17.
