“There is some uncertainty about the timing of the storm, which may linger on Friday,” he said. “Any impact on Halloween depends on the speed of the storm system, which may taper off before trick or treating.”
The National Weather Service anticipates it will be breezy on Friday in the wake of the storm system, with wind gusts reaching speeds of 30 to 40 miles per hour, Lipton said.
