Strong Odor Reported In Parts Of Orange County
Some reports describe the odor as being similar to brake fluid, cologne, detergent and gasoline.
CORNWALL, NY — A strong, fragrant odor is being reported in the Cornwall and New Windsor area.
The Town of Cornwall said on its Facebook page that emergency services were notified Thursday because the odor was persistent.
There have been no reports of illness, the town said.

Officials said they will continue to monitor the situation, and if anyone feels sick, they should visit an urgent care facility or the emergency room. If someone needs an ambulance, call 911.
