The region could see severe thunderstorms before cooler temperatures arrive, according to forecasters.

HUDSON VALLEY, NY — The weekend brings a potential for severe thunderstorms, followed by a significant cooldown in temperatures in the Hudson Valley, according to the National Weather Service.
