Teen In Critical Condition After He Was Hit By A Car On Roadside
The 16-year-old was was taken to Westchester Medical Center with severe head injuries, according to New York State Police.
MONROE, NY — A Hudson Valley teenager is fighting for his life after he was hit by a car while walking on the shoulder of the road.
New York State Police in Monroe are investigating the crash on County Route 105 in Orange County.
State police say that on Wednesday, around 8:45 p.m., a 2021 Toyota, driven by 27-year-old Berl Rosenfeld, of Monroe, was traveling east on County Route 105, when he failed to maintain his lane and struck 16-year-old Shlome Bernbluth who was walking east on the south shoulder of County Route 105.

New York State Police said that a full investigation into the crash is continuing.
Bernbluth was taken to Westchester Medical Center with severe head injuries and is listed in critical condition.
