Third-Prize-Winning Powerball Ticket Sold At Lucky Shop
It was one of three sold in New York, lottery officials said.
NEWBURGH, NY — The New York Lottery today announced three third-prize-winning tickets were sold for the Sept. 16 Powerball drawing, including one in Newburgh — at the Smokes 4 Less store at 59 N. Plank Road, which has a regional reputation.

The tickets are worth $50,000 each. The other tickets were sold at:
- CORNER MARKET located at 6766 ERIE RD in DERBY, which sold one prize-winning ticket worth $50,000
- SUPER MARIO MKT INC located at 2304 PINE AVE in NIAGARA FALLS, which sold one prize-winning ticket worth $50,000
The winning numbers for the Powerball game are drawn from a field of one to 69. The red Power Ball is drawn from a separate field of one to 26. The Powerball drawing is televised every Monday, Wednesday and Saturday at 10:59 p.m.
