United Way Hosts Community Listening Session

The UW of Dutchess Orange Region will be hosting a community listening session to cover topics about health and wellness and other topics.

From United Way: Are you a low income resident of the City of Poughkeepsie facing health and wellness issues? If so, we want to hear from you. United Way of Dutchess-Orange Region will be hosting a community listening session on Saturday, March 4th, from 9:30am to 12:00pm at The New Hope Center (104 Hudson Ave, Poughkeepsie, NY 12601). The listening session will cover topics such as health and wellness, access to nutritious foods, obesity prevention, mental health, substance abuse and healthcare services. The goal of this listening session is to bring the community together to discuss their needs to create a healthier Poughkeepsie. To help make our community healthier, we need your voice to improve the health and quality of life of every person in our Poughkeepsie community.
