Upstate Woman Dies Of Injuries In Rollover Crash
The state police said the crash happened on Interstate 87 in the town of Catskill.
CATSKILL, NY — A woman from upstate New York died as a result of injuries sustained in a rollover car crash.
The New York State Police said, shortly before 7 a.m. Friday, troopers responded to a report of a one-car rollover crash on Interstate 87 in the town of Catskill.
Police said the crash happened in the area of mile marker 108.9, between exit 20 (Saugerties) and exit 21 (Catskill).

The preliminary investigation at the scene determined that a 2004 Ford Escape was traveling north in the passing lane, when, for an unknown reason, it left the roadway, went through the guide rail, struck an earth embankment and overturned.
Police said the driver and sole occupant of the SUV, Regina Levine, 66, of Amsterdam, Montgomery County, was taken to Albany Medical Center in critical condition.

She died of her injuries Monday, according to authorities.
The crash remains under investigation.
