Victim In Fatal I-87 Crash Is ID'd As 21-Year-Old Nanuet Man

The driver, the only person in the car, was ejected from the vehicle after veering off the highway and striking a tree.

ULSTER, NY — New York State Police have identified the victim of an early morning, single-car crash on I-87.

On Dec. 28, at approximately 6:04 a.m., troopers out of the Thruway Kingston barracks responded 3 miles north of exit 19 southbound on Interstate 87 for a one-car motor vehicle collision in Ulster.

The preliminary investigation found that a 2008 Honda was traveling south on the highway, when it exited the roadway through the right shoulder for unknown reasons and struck a tree.

The driver and only occupant of the car has been identified by authorities as 21-year-old Randolph E. Quintanilla Revolorio, of Nanuet. He was ejected from the vehicle.

Revolorio was pronounced dead at the scene. The investigation is ongoing, according to New York State Police.
