Victim Shot Repeatedly Following Armed Robbery, 2 Arrested: Police
The victim was initially treated at Bon Secours Community Hospital, and then transferred to Westchester Medical Center.

PORT JERVIS, NY — Police say a violent armed robbery in Orange County has left the victim seriously wounded.
District Attorney David M. Hoovler and Port Jervis Police Department Chief William Worden announced the arrests of 22-year-old John J. Selja, and 26-year-old Andrew Delrio, after an investigation into a report of a man shot on Tuesday, around 9:28 p.m., on Barcelow Street in the City of Port Jervis.
Port Jervis police investigated with the Orange County District Attorney's Office, the Town of Deerpark Police Department, the Orange County Drug Task Force, the Town of Warwick Police Department, and the Orange County Sheriff's Office.

Port Jervis police believe Selja and Delrio confronted the victim and stole property from the victim. The pair then discharged multiple rounds from a firearm, striking the victim. He was initially treated at Bon Secours Community Hospital, and then transferred to Westchester Medical Center. No other injuries were reported.
Along with the arrests of Selja and Delrio, a search warrant was executed at a Penaluna Road address in the Town of Warwick, according to police,

Selja and Delrio were each charged with felony second-degree attempted murder, and felony first-degree robbery.
