Victims ID'd In Deadly Late-Night ATV Accident Near Celebrated Hudson Valley Orchard
The ATV left the road and ended up in a ditch, flipping, ejecting both passengers, according to the Town of Montgomery Police Department.

TOWN OF MONTGOMERY, NY — A tragic crash over the holiday weekend has taken two lives, according to authorities.
The Town of Montgomery Police Department says that on Sunday, around 2:56 a.m., units responded to Berea Road, in the area of Crist Brothers Orchards, after receiving a report of an ATV accident.
Once on the scene, police determined that a four-wheeled ATV carrying two people had been traveling north on Berea Road, when it left the roadway. The vehicle ended up in a ditch and flipped, ejecting the two passengers.

Life-saving measures were attempted, but 37-year-old Bryan Robb and 61-year-old Elaine Upright, both of the Town of Montgomery, were declared dead.
Several agencies responded to the scene to assist, including New York State Police, Village of Walden police, Village of Montgomery police, the Walden Fire Department, Town of Montgomery EMS and Town of Newburgh EMS.

Police say the incident is being investigated by the Town of Montgomery Police Department and the Orange County Medical Examiner's Office. Anyone with information is asked to contact Town of Montgomery police at 845-457-9211.
