The investigation discovered she was travelling west on Route 211 when her car collided head-on with a vehicle being driven by Illenberg.
Immediately before the crash, Illenberg was traveling in the eastbound lane, but she had veered into the westbound lane, causing the head-on collision, police said.

Kallus was later taken to Westchester Medical Center. She died of her injures April 10, police said.
The case is being prosecuted by the Dutchess County District Attorney’s Office.
