Wappingers Falls Man Accused Of Sexually Abusing Child

Police investigators said they received a tip that the man abused a child under the age of 11.

WAPPINGERS FALLS, NY — A Dutchess County man was accused of sexually abusing a child.

The New York State Police said Marc H. Santoro, 54, of Wappingers Falls was arrested Wednesday and charged with first-degree sexual abuse, a felony, and endangering the welfare of a child, a misdemeanor.

Police investigators said they received a tip that Santoro abused a child under the age of 11.

He was arraigned in the Village of Wappingers Falls Court and sent to the Dutchess County Jail in lieu of $15,000 bail, $30,000 bond or $60,000 partially secure bond.

Santoro is schedule to reappear in court March 20.
