Falling on the last Monday of May each year, Memorial Day honors those who lost their lives while serving in the military. It's a federal holiday that many people get off from work, resulting in a three-day weekend.

This year, Memorial Day falls on May 27, and for many, this holiday weekend marks the unofficial start of summer. Woodstock-New Paltz Art & Crafts Fair

When: Saturday, May 25 and Sunday, May 26 - 10:00 a.m.-5:30 p.m.; Monday, May 27 - 10:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m.

Full Flower Moon Performance

When: Saturday, May 25 - 5:00 p.m.-9:00 p.m.
Where: Plan Bee Farm Brewery, 115 Underhill Rd., Poughkeepsie, NY 12603
What: Experience original tunes under the Full Flower Moon on Plan Bee Farm Brewery’s beautiful outdoor stage. This event celebrates the arrival of spring and the blooming of flowers, with the concert starting around sunset. Seating is provided but attendees can bring their own chairs or blankets.

Renegades Minor League Baseball At Heritage Financial Park

When: Monday, May 27 - 1:35 p.m.
Where: Heritage Financial Park, 1500 NY-9D, Wappingers Falls, NY 12590
What: Join the Hudson Valley Renegades minor league baseball team at Heritage Financial Park on Memorial Day as they honor those who have served both at home and abroad. The game starts at 1:35 p.m. and they will be playing the Aberdeen IronBirds.
