Winning Powerball Ticket Sold At Hudson Valley Gas Station

The prize-winning ticket was sold in Highland for the Wednesday drawing, New York Lottery officials said.

HIGHLAND, NY — A stop at an Ulster County gas station convenience store has paid off big time for someone in the Hudson Valley.

The New York Lottery announced a third-prize-winning ticket was sold for the Oct. 1 Powerball drawing.

The ticket is worth $50,000, and was sold at Highland Mart, located on US Highway 9W in Highland.

The winning numbers for the drawing were 8-17-22-28-55, with a Powerball number of 14.

The winning numbers for the Powerball game are drawn from a field of one to 69. The red Powerball is drawn from a separate field of one to 26. The Powerball drawing is televised every Monday, Wednesday and Saturday at 10:59 p.m.
