NEWBURGH, NY — A stop at a well-known smoke shop has paid off big time for a Hudson Valley resident.
The New York Lottery announced a third-prize-winning ticket was sold for Saturday's Powerball drawing.
The ticket is worth $50,000, and was sold at the Smokes 4 Less, located on North Pland Road in Newburgh.

Another winning ticket for the same amount was sold at Mini Mart, located on Route 109 in Lindenhurst.
The winning numbers for the drawing were 02-17-18-29-43, with a Powerball number of 03.

The winning numbers for the Powerball game are drawn from a field of one to 69. The red Powerball is drawn from a separate field of one to 26. The Powerball drawing is televised every Monday, Wednesday and Saturday at 10:59 p.m.
