Winning Powerball Ticket Sold Saturday In The Hudson Valley

The New York Lottery announced that the prize-winning ticket was sold for Saturday's Powerball drawing.

NEWBURGH, NY — A stop at a well-known smoke shop has paid off big time for a Hudson Valley resident.

The New York Lottery announced a third-prize-winning ticket was sold for Saturday's Powerball drawing.

The ticket is worth $50,000, and was sold at the Smokes 4 Less, located on North Plank Road in Newburgh.

Two additional winning tickets for the same amount were sold at a Freshmart located on Union St. in Flushing, and at a Speedway located on Sheridan Dr. in Tonawanda.

The winning numbers for the drawing were 02, 04, 16, 23, 63 with a Powerball number of 13.

The winning numbers for the Powerball game are drawn from a field of one to 69. The red Powerball is drawn from a separate field of one to 26. The Powerball drawing is televised every Monday, Wednesday and Saturday at 10:59 p.m.
