1 Slashed, 1 Shoved Onto Subway Tracks In Midtown Assault, Police Say
The perpetrators have not been arrested yet, police said.

MIDTOWN, NY — Police are searching for suspects after one man was slashed and another was pushed onto the subway tracks at a Midtown train station over the weekend, New York City Police Department officials said.
According to the NYPD, two men, 37 and 39 years old, were on the downtown F train platform at the 57th Street station on Oct. 11 at 11 p.m. when two perpetrators started an argument with them.
The argument escalated and the perpetrators slashed the 39-year-old in the hand, cutting him, and pushed the 37-year-old onto the subway tracks, police said.

The two perpetrators ran away to parts unknown, and the 37-year-old was able to climb back up to the platform on his own, police said.
Medics took both victims to New York-Presbyterian/Weill Cornell Medical Center in stable condition, police said.

Police are investigating the incident, and no arrests have been made yet. Police released surveillance photos of the two suspects.
