118 NYC UPS Workers Won’t Be Laid Off After All, Company Says
UPS has rescinded its notice to lay off dozens of NYC-based workers, according to state Department of Labor documents.

NEW YORK CITY — UPS has rescinded its notice to lay off dozens of NYC-based workers, according to documents obtained by Patch.
The 118 jobs at a UPS Customer Center in Hell’s Kitchen set to be axed were saved in an amended WARN notice, according to the state Department of Labor. No employees will be laid off anymore, according to the June 20 notice.
The layoffs, first announced in March, were set to impact all employees at the 643 West 43rd St. site.
