A 70-year-old Died After Losing Control Of Car In Sunset Park: NYPD
Police say she was driving a Range Rover on 3rd Avenue and crashed into a pillar on 52nd Street, according to the Highway Division Squad.
SUNSET PARK, NY — A Bay Ridge woman was the victim of a fatal car accident Friday, said police.
Rose Gargano, 70, was operating a 2020 Range Rover while traveling south on 3rd Avenue in Brooklyn when she lost control of the vehicle and struck a pillar 52nd Street, according to an investigation by the Highway Investigation Squad.
Police arrived on the scene after receiving a 911 call at 3:42 p.m. and found Gargano unconscious. She was sent to Lutheran Hospital, where she was pronounced dead, said the NYPD.
