Anti-Terror Cop Arrested For Drunk Driving In Midtown: NYPD

An off-duty police officer was arrested for drunk driving and for refusing to take a breathalyzer, police said.

MIDTOWN, NY — An off-duty anti-terror cop was cuffed and charged with drunk driving and refusing to take a breath test, according to police officials.

Iliana Quezada, 37, was arrested Thursday night at around 9 p.m. by officers from the Midtown North Precinct, police said.

Quezada, an officer since 2016, has been assigned to the Transit Bureau Anti-Terror Unit since 2018, according to public records.

NYPD officials did not immediately provide any details about the arrest regarding why the off-duty officer was initially pulled over, where the traffic stop took place or what level of intoxication was found by the arresting officers.

Records show that Quezada has never faced any disciplinary action or civilian complaints against her over the nearly seven years she's been on the force.
