Ariana Grande's Brother Violently Mugged In Midtown: Report

MIDTOWN MANHATTAN, NY — The brother of singer Ariana Grande was violently mugged by two teenagers while walking in Midtown last week, according to police and a news report.

Frankie Grande, 39, himself an actor, singer and YouTube host, was walking along Eighth Avenue between West 43rd and 44th streets around 6 p.m. on Nov. 9 when two people hit him in the back of the head from behind, the New York Post reported.

The two assailants made off with Grande's Louis Vuitton bag, containing an iPhone, AirPods, sunglasses and wallet, according to the Post. He declined medical attention at the scene.

Police confirmed that two suspects, a 13-year-old boy and a 17-year-old boy, were arrested a short distance away. Both face a slew of charges, including robbery, assault, unlawful use of a credit card and criminal possession of a weapon, police said.

Frankie Grande acknowledged the attack in an Instagram story posted Tuesday.
