MIDTOWN MANHATTAN, NY — Black Seed Bagels, the chain that dishes out its hybrid New York City- and Montreal-style bagels, will open its sixth New York City location next week in Rockefeller Center, the company announced this week.

Black Seed Bagels' new outpost will be located in a 317-square foot space on the concourse level of 30 Rockefeller Center, a company spokesperson said. Black Seed's full menu including breakfast sandwiches, salads and pastries will be offered at the store. The menu will also feature a special bagel sandwich curated by a noted chef each month.

The Rockefeller Center location will be the first Black Seed Bagels location to feature a pickup window for ordering on the go, a company spokesperson said.

Black Seed Bagels describes its product as an amalgamation of bagel-making techniques from both New York City and Montreal. Black Seed's bagels have the light and airy quality New Yorkers have come to expect but also contain a discernible hole in the middle and baked in a wood-fire over like those north of the border.

The bagel store currently has locations in neighborhoods such as NoMad, East Village, Nolita, Tribeca and Brooklyn Heights. Black Seed's newest location will be open Monday through Sunday from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.
